○Main feature of the The 35kV Cable Junction Box 

▶Rated voltage: 35kV (conforming to IEC 62271-200 and GB/T 11022 standards).

▶Full insulation and full sealing: solid insulation (such as epoxy resin and silicone rubber) or SF6 gas insulation is adopted, and there is no bare conductor, with protection grade of IP65/IP67.

▶European plug-in technology: standard shielded plug-in cable connectors ( support live operation (special tools are required).

▶Modular design: the incoming and outgoing lines can be flexibly expanded (such as 1 in, 3 out, 2 in and 4 out).

▶Intelligent selection: fault indicator, temperature sensor, DTU (distribution terminal) can be integrated.

▶Box

Stainless steel /SMC composite material is corrosion-resistant and suitable for outdoor use (-40℃~+70℃).

▶Insulated bus

Copper or aluminum conductor, silicone rubber /EPDM insulation, power frequency withstand voltage ≥70kV, lightning impulse 170kV.

▶Cable connector

35kV shielded plug-in connectors (such as T-type and elbow-type) with test points (optional).

▶Protective device

Lightning arrester, short-circuit fault indicator and live display can be selected.

▶Grounding system

The box and cable shielding layer are reliably grounded (grounding resistance ≤4Ω).

 ◆Installation requirements

Cable stripping and cutting: accurately match the joint specifications (error 1 mm) to avoid damaging the insulation layer.

▶Connector installation: Clean the contact surface and apply silicone grease to prevent oxidation. Tighten with a torque wrench (for example, T-joint needs 35 ~ 40N m).

▶Grounding: The box and cable shield must be reliably grounded (grounding resistance ≤4Ω).

◆Safe operation

▶Check the electricity after power failure, and wear insulating gloves and goggles when operating.

▶Make sure that the grounding switch is closed (if any) before plugging and unplugging the connector.

◆Maintenance suggestion

▶Annual inspection: infrared temperature measurement (focusing on monitoring the temperature rise of joints).

▶Seal inspection: replace the sealing ring once every five years (moisture and dust proof).

▶Insulation test: conduct a withstand voltage test every 3 years.
