● Brief description of structure

The KYN28-24 Type Armor-Clad Shifting Metal Closed Switch Switchgear consists of cabinet and removable parts (commonly known as handcart). The switchgear is divided into several functional compartments by metal partitions, such as bus room, circuit breaker room, cable room and relay instrument room. Removable parts of switchgear can be equipped with vacuum circuit breaker handcart, voltage transformer handcart, lightning arrester handcart, isolation handcart and fuse handcart.

● Characteristics of main components

◆The shell

The shell of KYN28-24 Type Armor-Clad Shifting Metal Closed Switch Equipment is made of imported aluminum-zinc coated steel plate, which is processed by CNC machine tool and made by multiple folding process. The whole cabinet has high precision and strong corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and because of the adoption of multiple folding technology, the cabinet is lighter in overall weight, higher in mechanical strength and beautiful in appearance than other similar equipment cabinets. The cabinet adopts an assembled structure, which is connected by a willow nut and a high-strength bolt, so that the processing and production cycle is shortened, the parts are universal, the floor space is small, and the organization of production is convenient.

◆The handcart

The handcart skeleton is made of thin steel plate and assembled by CNC machine tool. The handcart and the cabinet have high matching precision, and the mechanical interlock is safe, reliable and flexible. Handcart can be divided into circuit breaker handcart, voltage transformer handcart, metering handcart, isolation handcart, etc. Handcarts with the same specifications can be freely interchanged. The handcart has a disconnection/test position and a working position in the cabinet, and each position has a positioning device. To ensure reliable interlocking. All kinds of handcarts are propelled and withdrawn by screw rods, which are light and flexible to operate and suitable for the personnel on duty. When the handcart needs to be removed from the cabinet, it can be conveniently taken out with a special transfer truck for various inspections and maintenance. When the handcart running car is transported into the cabinet circuit breaker room, it can be reliably locked in the off/test position, and the cabinet position indicator light shows its position. Only after the handcart is completely locked can the lead screw propulsion mechanism be shaken to push the handcart to the working position. When the handcart reaches the working position, the operating force of the propulsion handle suddenly increases and cannot be rotated, and its corresponding position indicator light shows its position. The mechanical interlock of handcart can reliably ensure that the circuit breaker can be closed only when the handcart is in the working position or test position; Moreover, the handcart can only move when the circuit breaker is in the opening state.

◆ Compartment

The main electrical components of switchgear are in their independent compartments, namely: breaker handcart room, bus room, cable room, relay instrument room, etc. The protection level of each compartment reaches IP2X. Except for the relay instrument room, the other three compartments have pressure relief channels respectively. Because of the middle type, the space of cable room is greatly increased, so the equipment can connect multiple cables in parallel.

▶ Bus compartment A: The main bus is connected by single splicing, which is fixed by branch bus (static contact box) and main bus insulation sleeve. The main bus and tie bus are copper bars with rectangular cross section, and double bus bars are used for heavy current load. For special needs, the bus can be covered with heat shrinkable sleeve and customized insulating cover box. Insulating bushings are installed between buses of adjacent cabinets, which can effectively limit the accident in the compartment without spreading to other cabinets in case of internal fault arc.

▶ Circuit breaker compartment B: Rails are installed on both sides of the compartment for handcart to move from the off/test position to the working position in the cabinet. The partition (valve) of the static contact box is installed at the back wall of the handcart room. When the handcart moves from the off/test position to the working position, the upper and lower valves on the mouth of the static contact box are automatically opened in conjunction with the handcart. When moving in the opposite direction, the valve will automatically close until the handcart retreats to a certain position and safely covers the static contact box, thus forming effective isolation. Because there is no linkage between the upper valve and the lower valve, the valve on the live side can be locked during maintenance, thus ensuring that the maintenance personnel do not touch the live body. The handcart can also be operated when the door of the circuit breaker room is closed. Through the observation window on the door, you can observe the position of the handcart in the compartment, the opening and closing instructions and the energy storage situation.

▶ Cable compartment C: The KYN28-24 type Armor-clad Shifting Metal Closed Switchgear is built in the middle, so the cable compartment has a large space. The current transformer and grounding switch are installed on the back wall of the compartment (the grounding switch can also be installed in the middle of the switch cabinet according to the customer's needs), and the lightning arrester is installed in the lower part of the compartment. After the handcart and the extractable horizontal partition are removed, the constructors can enter the cabinet from the front for installation and maintenance. The cable connecting conductors in the cable room can be connected in parallel with 1-3 cables per phase, and 6 cables can be connected in parallel with each phase when necessary. The detachable slotted metal sealing plate or non-magnetic metal sealing plate is prepared at the bottom of the cable compartment to ensure convenient construction.

▶ Relay instrument room D: Relay protection components, instruments, live display indicators and secondary equipment with special requirements can be installed in the relay instrument room. The control line is laid in the trunking, and the trunking has a metal cover plate, which can isolate the secondary line from the high-voltage components. The left front trunking is reserved for the lead-in and lead-out of control cables, and the corresponding parts of the bottom plate are provided with secondary wires and cable threading holes. On the top plate of the relay instrument room, there is also a small bus crossing hole which is convenient for construction. When wiring, the top cover plate of the instrument room can be opened to facilitate the installation of the small bus.
