Kexun Electric Completed HV & LV Workshop Upgrade to Boost Order Delivery

2026-06-25 0 Leave me a message

Kexun Electric is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales and service for all transmission and distribution products below 40.5kV. Before the upgrade, all types of power cabinets were assembled in mixed zones, which easily slowed down assembly efficiency and increased the risk of operation errors for workers. This June, a big change happened inside Kexun Electric factory as our whole production team spent nearly two months finishing the full upgrade of HV and LV assembly workshop. The project was launched because overseas orders of gas insulated switchgear and ring main unit kept growing rapidly this year.

Workshop Renovation and Production Area Optimization

All departments participated in the workshop renovation work. Production workers separated independent assembly areas for 10-35kV gas insulated switchgear, 10kV and 24kV ring main units. New exclusive gas filling and insulation testing zones were built to avoid cross contamination during cabinet production.

R&D and Testing Equipment Upgrades

The internal R&D team stayed on site to adjust testing machines for integrated primary-secondary ring main cabinet and pole mounted circuit breaker. All finished ring main units will go through strict insulation, temperature rise and breaking capacity tests on updated equipment, effectively lowering the defective product rate.

Low Voltage Supporting Product Line Optimization

Production lines for low voltage supporting products were optimized, including cable branch box, JP distribution box, energy metering box and national standard low voltage switchgear. Each low voltage cabinet type has its own fixed wiring and inspection station to speed up processing.

Component Workshop Upgrade

To realize one-stop supply for global clients, Kexun Electric independently produces full series HV and LV electrical components, such as vacuum circuit breakers and air circuit breakers. The component workshop also got new assembly jigs in this round of upgrade, ensuring matching spare parts supply for all complete switchgear sets.

Trial Operation Feedback

Factory managers shared positive feedback after one week of trial operation. The new workshop layout cuts 20% off production cycle for bulk gas insulated switchgear and ring main unit orders. Clients from Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa all receive their goods with shorter waiting time recently.

Staff Training Plan

Kexun Electric has further training plans for production staff in the next quarter. Regular skill lessons will be held monthly to make every worker familiar with assembly standards of gas insulated switchgear and integrated primary-secondary equipment. QC team will add extra random sampling links to control quality in real time.

Warehouse Expansion

The warehouse expansion plan is scheduled for the second half of 2026. Kexun Electric will stock hot-selling ring main units, cable branch boxes and electrical components in advance, to handle urgent small orders from global electrical contractors and distributors.

Commitment

All employees of Kexun Electric are proud of this workshop upgrade. We will keep optimizing production flow and product technology, supplying stable, cost-effective power distribution equipment under 40.5kV for every overseas partner in the long run.
